Service Description
Set apart from brief one-day workshops, discover the joy of pottery in a relaxed and welcoming setting at Choungama starting June 24th. This year, we will be joined by Sora, a student from Canada, who will assist us during the workshops. With Sora helping us out, our workshops are tailored to cater more towards international attendees, although everyone is welcome to join us! We welcome all skill levels and offer a serene, immersive experience to let creativity flourish. Enjoy the therapeutic process of shaping clay at your own pace, with guidance every step of the way. You’ll leave with gained knowledge and souvenirs from your experience. Course Details: Date: Any weekdays other than our fixed 5 day workshops 5 day workshop dates: June 24th-28th, 2024 July 8th-12, 2024 August 5th-9th, 2024 September 9th-13th, 2024 October 7th-11th, 2024 Time: 10-4pm with 1 hour lunch (lunch not included) Location: 4431 Yamada, Hagi, Yamaguchi 758-0063 What to Expect: - A fun adventure where you will be introduced to the wheel. Including (Throwing off the hump, centering, pulling, trimming and surface decorating) - Workshop lasts 6 hours including 1 hour lunch What to Bring: -Lunch- We are able to stop somewhere - Yourself! Attire: - Clothes you don't mind getting dirty, and short nails are encouraged! Services: We provide transportation Shipping: Shipping is not included, price will vary, depending on size and weight. Cancellation: In case of cancellation or rescheduling a workshop, please let us know a minimum of 3 days in advance for a full refund. If you would like to cancel your booking within the 3 days, we will charge a 50% fee.
